Where is the office located? My office is located in the Alternative Healthcare Building at 116 North Franklin Street, Suite 102, Watkins Glen, NY. How do I make an appointment? What can I expect during consultations? In neo-classical homeopathy, the homeopath uses your symptoms and how you experience them as well as dispositional information and patterns to examine the totality of your case in order to arrive at one individualized remedy, based on that totality. The process of gaining an understanding of you as a person can take awhile so the initial consultation lasts approximately 2 hours. No tests or examinations are necessary. I am interested in your physical complaints as well as your dispositional characteristics. Homeopathy affects symptoms that involve body, mind and emotions so any information that tells me about you as a person is important. A few things I will want to know about are your general energy level, sensitivities and fears you may have, what your stressors are, as well as anything that significantly affects you and your complaints. From all the information I receive from you, I attempt to identify symptom patterns that allow me to make a remedy recommendation specific to you and your complaints. Follow-up visits last approximately one hour and occur at four to six week intervals. After determining your response to the remedy and that improvement is progressing well, follow-ups may occur at longer intervals. All information discussed is strictly confidential. How long does treatment take? Homeopathic treatment is very individualized so the length of treatment varies with each individual. It depends on the type of health challenges someone has as well as their dispositional characteristics. There is often a response that occurs quickly, followed by improvement that continues as the overall level of health improves. It is important to remember that homeopathic remedies work by stimulating the body's innate ability to heal itself.
